Core Principles:

• We undertake to comply with legal requirements and to follow the best available guidance;
• We will use all appropriate resources to meet every student’s needs as far as we are able;
• We will work with students, parents, carers and other agencies to secure the best possible outcomes for every student.

 

And in Practice this means:

• We have a dedicated team  of teachers and teaching assistants who work to support all students, no matter what their needs are;
• We have a dedicated Special Needs base for staff and students;
• We aim to support the integration of students with Special Needs into mainstream classes, but we are not dogmatic about this;
• We do our very best to meet students’ learning, emotional and physical needs.
