Key Stage 4 (Years 9, 10 and 11):

· A core curriculum of English, Maths, Science, ICT, PE and Guidance (including RE) takes up 14 to 15 hours for most students

· A choice of Design Technology specialisms (Engineering, Food, Graphics, Resistant Materials and Textiles) – 3 hours

· A choice from Humanities, French and Spanish – 2 to 3 hours

· Students then have a choice from a wide range of courses with a vocational element. These courses include:

Ø Art and Design

Ø Business

Ø Child Care

Ø Health and Social Care

Ø Media

Ø Performing Arts

Ø Sport

Ø A variety of vocational courses offered by Grimsby Institute of Further and Higher Education
